Flap Dissection Workshop

Deferred indefinitely

Dr Griffin started teaching this workshop in 1994. It is run annually over two days. Modelled on the Canniesburn Flap Dissection Workshop, it provides a combined lecture and dissecting session course covering the vascular anatomy and practical experience of raising flaps of many descriptions on prepared cadaver specimens. Participants are expected to have pre-existing surgical and anatomical knowledge commensurate with their positions in advanced training in plastic and reconstructive surgery.

The Workshop is now endorsed by the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons. It is a Board of Plastic Surgery recommended course.

The 2012 Workshop will be held on Saturday and Sunday 4th & 5th August.
